However, the construction sector has been slower to embrace AI compared to other industries. 

This systematic literature review (SLR) comprehensively investigates AI's potential to optimise material selection, logistics, supply chain management, and operational efficiency in construction. It also explores the impact of AI adoption on the construction workforce, including labour market dynamics and strategies for development and training. By bridging the gap between industry challenges and AI's untapped potential, this study offers valuable insights, acknowledging both the transformative power of AI and the complexities involved, ultimately guiding the industry towards a more efficient and innovative future.
