According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, throughout 2020 there were 898 COVID-19 deaths, with over 90% of these people being aged 70 and above. Additionally, the impacts created as a result of COVID-19 caused negative physical and mental health issues.
Within an environment that is impacted by the threat of COVID-19, the detection of a fever demonstrates significant importance as it is a primary symptom associated with COVID-19. 372 Tempro is able to easily detect a fever through utilising infrared technology with a non-invasive approach, when compared to past forms of body thermometers. These include mercury thermometers which are considered accurate, but at the expense of invasiveness and discomfort.
In order to resolve these concerns surrounding thermometers, 372 Tempro aims to provide individuals with a solution that is hygienic, convenient and time efficient to monitor temperature. 372 Tempro also aims to provide a positive user experience through its ergonomic design to promote user comfort and remove all aspects of user intimidation, through a non-invasive approach. 372 Tempro also provides the user with a variety of innovative aspects including UV-C light sanitisation to ensure hygiene is maintained and the incorporation of a storage solution to provide the thermometer with a designated position to make it easily accessible.
