Tyler Lowrie

My name is Tyler Lowrie, I'm a final year Mechanical Engineering Student seeking industry level experience beyond University. I offer a unique skillset in composite manufacturing, CAD design, 3D printing and advanced manufacturing techniques through my experience in R&D product design and prototyping, bespoke composite product development & the development of the Western Sydney Solar car (2019).

FSAE at Western Sydney University

2021 brought on the opportunity to revive Motorsport at Western Sydney University, this uncovered the Formula SAE capstone project last picked up by students in 2017. Under supervision of Prof. Richard Yang, Engineering students set to redesign and rebuild WSU FSAE resources in the development of a brand-new design concept, pushing engineering boundaries in the development of an optimised FSAE vehicle design concept in hopes of competing in future events.


The 2021 FSAE team currently includes:
